By downloading, installing, or using PartWays ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the App.

Description of Service

PartWays is a financial calculator app designed to help individuals in the UK understand their financial position during divorce or separation. The App provides:

• House sale and equity split calculations
• Mortgage and affordability calculations
• UK SDLT (Stamp Duty Land Tax) calculations
• Child Maintenance Service (CMS) estimates
• Monthly budget tracking

Accuracy of Calculations

While we strive to provide accurate calculations based on current UK regulations and methodologies:

• CMS calculations are estimates and may differ from official assessments
• SDLT calculations reflect current rates but may change with legislation
• Mortgage calculations are simplified models
• Your actual financial situation may be more complex than the App can model

You are responsible for verifying all calculations with official sources and professional advisors.

User Responsibilities

You agree to:

• Provide accurate information when using the App
• Use the App for personal, non-commercial purposes only
• Not attempt to reverse engineer or extract the App's calculation algorithms
• Not use the App for any unlawful purpose

PartWays Pro Purchase

PartWays Pro is a one-time, non-refundable in-app purchase that unlocks additional features. The purchase:

• Is processed through Apple's App Store
• Is linked to your Apple ID
• Can be restored on devices signed in with the same Apple ID
• Is subject to Apple's terms and conditions
• Is non-refundable except as required by applicable law

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

• The App is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind
• We are not liable for any decisions you make based on the App's calculations
• We are not responsible for any financial losses resulting from use of the App
• We are not liable for any damages arising from inaccuracies in calculations

Changes to the App

We reserve the right to:

• Modify or discontinue the App at any time
• Update calculation methodologies to reflect changes in UK law
• Add or remove features
• Change these Terms of Service

Privacy

Your use of the App is also governed by our Privacy Policy. We do not collect or store your personal data—all information stays on your device.

Termination

You may stop using the App at any time by deleting it from your device. We may terminate or suspend access to the App without notice if you violate these terms.

Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of England and Wales.

Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
